Damien Hamlett joined the RVCC management team as Head Golf Professional in February of 2022. Born and raised in Rustburg, VA, golf became a part of Damien's daily life from six years old. It was then that he began playing with his dad and brother at a small private club in Appomattox, VA. His love for the game grew from that very moment, which led him to his future career, a PGA Professional.

Damien's passion and drive for golf led him to New Jersey where he began his career as an assistant professional at New Jersey National for 5 years. After an incredible experience there, he took the Head Professional position at Galloping Hill, where he was for 9 years. There he was able to develop his leadership skills as well as create and lead a top level junior program. This junior program included an array of very successful opportunities for juniors, which included a PGA junior league, various winter classes and lessons, and many more options to grow the game of golf.

Damien is very active in the New Jersey Section of the PGA of America where he serves on various committees and competes regularly in numerous annual tournaments and Pro-ams. He is also a certified First Tee coach for the First Tee of Raritan Valley and has been for over 8 years.

Damien resides in Neptune, NJ with his wife, Kristyn and their young son, Preston.
